More than 200-thousand people packed downtown Nashville for the opening night of the NFL Draft. The Arizona Cardinals had the first pick and selected quarterback Kyler Murray from Oklahoma.
Kentucky’s Josh Allen heard has name called seventh in the opening round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Allen says he’s looking forward to joining the Jaguars:
The Tennessee Titans had the 19th pick and took defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from Mississippi State. Simmons is recovering from an ACL injury and could miss most if not all of his rookie season.
The second and third round selections will be announced today.
