A Murray High School teacher and coach has been arrested for allegedly setting up a camera in a school bathroom.
The Murray Police Department says staff at Murray High located a device that was able to record video and it was set up in a manner to video individuals while they were changing in the bathroom of the nurse’s station.
The suspect, 53-year old Mark Boggess, was identified from the video as he was setting the device in place, according to a news release.
Boggess was interviewed by police, additional information was obtained from staff at the school and officers made the arrest. Boggess is charged with three counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and four counts of voyeurism.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
Boggess is listed as a health and physical education teacher on the Murray High website and he’s also the school’s boys’ and girls’ track coach.
