Hopkinsville defeated Trigg County 5-1 Wednesday at Tiger Field. The Tigers scored four of their runs in the second and third innings, with Ryan Myers going 3-4 while Layne Jorgensen and John Duvall added two hits each for Hopkinsville who had 12 hits in the game. Zach Caudill pitched a complete game win as the Tigers improved to 11-6 on the season. They return to action Friday at Northeast in Clarksville.
