A Christian County Jail inmate escaped from the work release program Tuesday night.
Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help to locate 22-year old Calvin Jermaine Merritt, Jr., who was last seen at East Fifth and South Virginia Streets at about 8:30 p.m.
He is a black male, standing about 5-9 and weighing approximately 140 pounds and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants and he was barefoot. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck and the name Calvin is tattooed on his upper right arm.
