It was a party on Church Street Wednesday as community members showed up in support of a ribbon cutting for the youngest Christian County Chamber member and business owner, Dj Bailey.
Owner of DJ’s Famous Lemonade, the 9-year old Bailey was all smiles as he served up lemonade and cut the ribbon for his business. He thanked many family members, including his mother, father, grandparents and more for their unending support, and says most of all, he thanks God.
He says it’s his wish to inspire other youth to work hard and strive to achieve their dreams.
Bailey is always working with his family to create new drink ideas for his stand, which travels across Christian County serving up lemonade that comes with many flavorings. A sign at his stand states that a portion of all proceeds goes to various charities in the community.
