Technical issues led to arraignment being delayed in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning for three of the four suspects charged in connection with incidents that led to the shooting of Hopkinsville police officer Jeremy Davidson on February 19th.

Arraignment had been scheduled for Anthony Johnson, September Neblett and Autumn Neblett, but video conferencing equipment between the Justice Center and Christian County Jail would not connect.

Circuit Judge John Atkins asked if it would be acceptable to waive arraignment and Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling said he’d prefer to reschedule instead, with Johnson also being federally indicted.

The alleged shooter, Keith Kuzyk, is also federally indicted with Johnson on carjacking and gun charges. Kuzyk was not on the arraignment docket Wednesday.

Johnson is charged with felony receiving stolen property and fleeing or evading police. Autumn Neblett and September Neblett are indicted for complicity to robbery and receiving stolen property, with Autumn also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Their charges are connected to the alleged carjacking at Walmart that led to two pursuits.

Officer Davidson was shot in the arm and head at the end of one of those pursuits on North Drive near Sanderson Drive and was treated and released from Skyline Medical Center.
