MLB Roundup: Reds lose, Cardinals, Cubs & Braves win

The Cincinnati Reds fell to the San Diego Padres 4-3 Sunday at Petco Park. The Reds are back home tomorrow night to open a three game series with the Atlanta Braves, with pregame at 5:10 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: Paul Goldschmidt picked up a pair of hits and drove in two as the St. Louis Cardinals topped the New York Mets 6-4 at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals open a three-game home set with the Milwaukee Brewers tonight.

David Bote singled home Javy Baez in the bottom of the 9th to lift the Chicago Cubs to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Wrigley Field. The Cubs are off today before the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the friendly confines tomorrow night.

Interleague: Josh Donaldson went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI as the Atlanta Braves beat the Cleveland Indians 11-5. Freddie Freeman also went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs as Atlanta took two-of-three in the series. Max Fried improved to 3-and-0.
