A Muhlenberg County Detention Center inmate is back in custody after he briefly escaped Saturday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say 25-year old Nicholas Barbre of Greenville fled from a rear door of the jail toward Pritchett Drive just after 4 p.m.
He was located about 5:30 p.m. on Pritchett by a deputy jailer and was taken back into custody.
KSP charged Barbre with second-degree escape.
