A Graves County Jail inmate died Saturday night.
Kentucky State Police are investigating and say 50-year old Rodney Evans of Mayfield became unresponsive at the jail. He was transported by EMS to Jackson Purchase Hospital and was later transferred to Baptist Health in Paducah, where he died.
Another Graves County inmate is being treated at a Paducah for an apparent drug overdose and KSP continues to investigate the origin of the contraband, according to a news release.
