UHA Lady Blazers coach Sparks announces he is stepping down

University Heights Lady Blazers basketball coach Taylor Sparks announced today he is stepping down from the position. WHOP Sports Director Todd Hamilton spoke with Sparks after he made his announcement Friday morning:

Sparks was 151-108 in his ten seasons as Lady Blazers coach including a 13-14 record this past season. Sparks’ teams played in two 2nd region finals, won three 8th district titles in a four year span from 2011-14 and made four All A Classic appearances in 2012, 2013, 2015 and this past season.
Before coaching the Lady Blazers, Sparks was an assistant to former UHA boys coach Randy McCoy for two seasons.
