An arrest was made for methamphetamine possession early Friday morning at East 22nd and South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville.
An officer stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and the driver was arrested on a warrant.
A K9 alerted on the car and an arrest citation says a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine was located in the door next to a passenger, identified as 72-year old Roy Pluskis of Hopkinsville.
Pluskis was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
