Registered voters in Todd County who won’t be able to make it to their precinct to vote in the primary election on May 21st can cast an absentee ballot at the clerk’s office beginning early next month.
Todd County Clerk Leslie Cunningham says they’ll open the absentee voting machine on May 3rd and registered voters who will be out of town or who are disabled can vote during regular business hours at the clerk’s office in the courthouse on Washington Street in Elkton.
Cunningham says she’ll also have the machine open from 9 a.m. until noon on two Saturdays—May 11th and May 18th.
Mail-in absentee ballots can be requested by calling the Todd County Clerk’s Office at 270-265-9966.
The Todd County Board of Elections will meet Tuesday, April 23rd at 9 a.m. in the courthouse to examine the machines and to go over final preparations for the primary.
