Murray State won its third consecutive Ohio Valley Conference women’s title Wednesday and Hopkinsville’s Anna Moore was the medalist in the event.
The Racers finished as a team at four under par 864, which was 20 shots better than Eastern Kentucky. Austin Peay finished fifth at 911.
Anna Moore had a final round 72 to finish at 211 and win by a stroke. Moore’s win marks the ninth time that a Murray State golfer has captured the OVC Championship medalist honor. She was also named to the All-Tournament team and was Most Valuable Player.
Next up is a trip to the NCAA Regionals with that information to be announced later.
