State Senator Whitney Westerfield of Christian County has received his fifth legislative MVP award from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
He was one of 13 lawmakers presented with awards Wednesday morning to show appreciation for work on issues the chamber finds especially important.
Westerfield’s award was for Senate Bill 85, which expands the usage of ignition interlock devices for DUI offenders in Kentucky.
