UPDATED: Motorcyclist hurt in North Main crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon on North Main Street.

It happened just before 1 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville Public Safety Officer Cassidy Woods says 84-year old Janice Self of Hopkinsville was turning left out of the Circle K gas station and said she didn’t see a northbound motorcycle operated by 68-year old Michael Stalls of Hopkinsville.

Stalls laid his motorcycle down and braced for impact as he crashed into Self’s SUV.

Stalls was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for multiple, non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, according to police.
