South West Kentucky Economic Development Council Executive Director Mark Lindsey recently graduated from TVA’s Valley Workforce Institute.
A news release says the Valley Workforce Institute is designed to assist economic developers in understanding and selling their workforce assets and address talent pipeline challenges in today’s economy. The program is offered to community economic development professionals in the TVA service area to help foster long-term success.
Lindsey is quoted as saying, “I want to thank TVA for the opportunity to participate in the Workforce Institute program, which provided me helpful tips on how to better tell our regional workforce story. They, along with other consultants, provided the necessary tips to help gain a competitive edge in this industry.”
