A Caldwell County Jail inmate is back in custody again following a brief escape Tuesday morning.
Princeton Police say 39-year old Billy Poe obtained a key and left the Caldwell County Jail out of a side door just after 5 a.m.
At about 5:20, dispatch received a call that Poe was at a home on North Seminary Street waiting to turn himself in.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree escape and misdemeanor theft.
