Three juveniles were cited Saturday afternoon after they allegedly fired a pellet gun at a moving vehicle on the Pennyrile Parkway, damaging the pickup.
It initially came out as a shots fired call between Hopkinsville and Crofton on the Parkway and the out of state occupants of the vehicle thought someone had shot at them with a firearm, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department. Further investigation determined it was a pellet gun and deputies located two 13-year olds, a 12-year old and a pellet gun not far away from the area where the truck was hit.
Police cited the juveniles into court for criminal mischief in the 3rd degree.
The occupants of the truck were not injured.
