Murray State sophomore guard Ja Morant was named the winner of the 2019 Bob Cousy Award by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. This honor recognizes the top point guard in college basketball. The award was presented on Friday night at the ESPN College Basketball Awards Show in Los Angeles. Morant was also a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award, given to the nation’s top player. Duke freshman Zion Williamson was the winner of the award.
