Kentucky freshman and Lyon County native Cullan Brown has been named as Co-SEC Freshman of the Week. Brown led the Wildcats to a tie for fourth at the Mason Rudolph Championship last Sunday and garnered a tie for fifth on the individual leaderboard, easily the best finish of his young career.
Brown, who missed the entire fall season recovering from an injury, has appeared in all five of UK’s spring events. He’s averaging a 72.07 stroke average which was aided by a pair of sub-70 rounds at the Mason Rudolph, including a history-making effort of 64 over the opening 18 holes.
