Viewers who watch Kentucky Educational Television over the air by antenna may experience some outages over the next couple weeks.
KET officials say they’ll need to shut off the WKMA channel 35 transmitter near Madisonville at times between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. over a period of about two weeks.
The tower work is part of a larger effort, mandated by the Federal Communication Commission, to consolidate bandwidth in what is known as the spectrum repack.
