A Madisonville man was flowing to an Evansville hospital following a single-vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to Red Hill Road in Nortonville for reports of a crash. Investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 24-year old Jacob Robinson of Madisonville was traveling northbound when he went off the roadway for an unknown reason.
The vehicle went off the right side of the road and collided with a concrete culvert. The truck became wedge between the culvert and an earthen embankment before coming to a stop. Robinson had to be extricated from the vehicle.
He was flown to Saint Vincent Hospital in Evansville for his injuries.
