Central City man facing drug charges following traffic stop

A Central City man was arrested on multiple drug related charges following a traffic stop in Muhlenberg County by Kentucky State Police Tuesday.

According to a news release, troopers observed a vehicle driving carelessly on US 431, approximately a mile north of Drakesboro, and initiated a traffic stop. Upon contact with the driver, 25-year old Tommy Vincent of Central City, troopers reportedly determined him to be under the influence of a substance and in possession of prescription pills.

Vincent was arrested and charged with second-offense DUI, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in a proper container, careless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt.
