An explosion damaged a pickup on Nelson Drive early Wednesday morning and it’s under investigation by Hopkinsville Police.
The explosion near the intersection with Sylvan Terrace could be heard through much of the city at about 2 a.m., according to Hopkinsville Police Officer Mike Atkins, who says officers arrived to find smoke coming from the vehicle.
Police are working to determine what caused the explosion.
No one was injured in the incident.
