The three adult suspects indicted in connection with the murder of a man on Bethel Street in January were arraigned Wednesday morning in Christian Circuit Court.
Twenty-two-year-old Shakkory Willis is charged with murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and unlawful transaction with a minor.
Willis allegedly entered the residence on Bethel Street, along with co-defendant James Yates and a 14-year old juvenile, in an attempted robbery. Corvyon Thomas was shot and killed and another victim, Dylan Stewart, was shot in the leg.
Public defender Eric Bearden represented all three suspects Wednesday, entering a not guilty plea.
Yates and Lane Carter are charged with complicity to burglary, complicity to robbery and unlawful transaction with a minor. Carter allegedly drove the others to the location.
Judge John Atkins set a pre-trial conference for May 22nd to allow ample time for lawyers to review evidence and go over the case.
The 14-year old and two other female juveniles are also facing charges in connection with the incident.
