Woman charged with unlawful imprisonment, wanton endangerment

A Hopkinsville woman is facing over a dozen charges after she allegedly made threats against multiple people while armed with a handgun.

An arrest citation for 24-year old Ahgeana Bailey of Hopkinsville alleges she assaulted her ex-girlfriend and held her in a bathroom against her will while armed with a gun at a residence near Airport Road and Todd Drive Monday afternoon.

Bailey is also accused of pointing the gun at two other people in the home during a verbal altercation and threatened to kill them.

She threatened to return as she left and drove by the home as police were on scene investigating, according to the report, which says officers conducted a traffic stop.

A K9 alerted on the vehicle and police say a search revealed a handgun in a bag and an open glass of liquor in the console.

Bailey allegedly began kicking and screaming inside the back of a cruiser and threatened to kill the arresting officer.

She was lodged in the Christian County Jail for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, disorderly conduct, tampering with evidence, four  counts of terroristic threatening, driving with a suspended license and possession of an open alcohol container.
