A total of six people were arrested on various charges following an investigation into alleged drug activity Wednesday in Hopkins County.
Detectives with the Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit went to a residence on Illey Sisk Road in Nortonville looking for wanted individuals and received consent to search the home.
A news release says methamphetamine was out in plain view and a search warrant was obtained. In addition to the meth, police say they also found marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia consisted with trafficking.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tyler Fox of Madisonville was arrested for trafficking in meth and possession charges, in addition to being served with a warrant. Others in the home, 29-year old Brittany Nance of Dixon, 29-year old Derrick Hallum and 43-year old Amanda Skimerhorn of Nortonville—were arrested for meth and drug paraphernalia possession.
Two others—22-year old Malik Davis of Madisonville and 28-year old Lacey Whitledge of Owensboro—were arrested on warrants and for giving officers a false name.
