A man was arrested in Hopkins County Friday night after he allegedly shot his father.
State troopers were called to a Campbell Road residence west of Madisonville a little before 10 p.m. and determined that 22-year old Abram Skinner had been in an argument with 46-year old Alexis Skinner.
That’s when Abram allegedly brandished a firearm and shot his father.
Alexis Skinner was flown by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, where he was listed in stable condition.
Abram Skinner was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
