A Murray man was arrest in relation to an armed robbery that occurred on Taylor Drive in Murray on Monday.
According to a news release, officers responded to Taylor Drive for reports that a victim had been allegedly assaulted by 40-year old Jackson Dickey of Murray. Dickey allegedly entered the residence and brandished a handgun, demanding money and other personal items. He also allegedly struck the victim in the side of the head with the gun before fleeing the scene.
Officers were able to locate Dickey at a different location and took him into custody. He was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
