Motorists traveling along the Pennyrile Parkway work zone in northern Christian County should be alert for a mobile traffic stripe painting crew Tuesday.
The Transportation Cabinet says the traffic paint crew will be working along the section of the work zone with two-way traffic. While the crew will be moving, this activity will slow the flow of traffic along this restricted section.
This crew will repaint the traffic stripes along the work zone in short segments, then pull off to let traffic pass.
Motorists are asked to be alert for the painting crew and avoid driving through freshly sprayed paint.
This work zone is part a reconstruction project along the Pennyrile Parkway that runs from the 16 mile-marker extending northward to near the U.S. 41 Overpass near the 30 mile-marker, a distance of about 13 miles.
