University of Tennessee coach Rick Barnes has been named National Coach of the Year by the US Basketball Writers Association. Barnes-who is also a finalist for Naismith National Coach of the Year-has led the Vols to a 31-5 mark this season. The award will be presented April 15th in St. Louis.
