An 18-year old is now paralyzed following a shooting in Clarksville Saturday and the Clarksville Police Department is asking for anyone with information on the incident to call them.
According to a news release, Clarksville police officers responded to Cedarcrest Drive on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an 18-year old male laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken by helicopter to a Nashville hospital where is listed in stable condition.
Investigation determined that the victim had reportedly been in a physical fight and at some point in the altercation was shot in the back. It is believed that the victim and suspect may know each other in some way.
