The NCAA Tournament begins today with Kentucky, Murray State, Louisville and Belmont all in action. In Midwest Region play in Jacksonville, FL, Kentucky meets Abilene Christian in a game which both teams are nicknamed the Wildcats. UK coach John Calipari said during a news conference Wednesday leading scorer PJ Washington would play this evening. The winner will face the Wofford/Seton Hall winner on Saturday.

Also in Jacksonville this afternoon, Belmont goes against Maryland in East Region action. The winner faces LSU or Yale on Saturday.
Murray State takes the floor this afternoon against Marquette in West Region play in Hartford, Connecticut with the winner to get the Florida State/Vermont winner on Saturday.
Louisville faces former assistant Richard Pitino and the University of Minnesota in East Region action in Des Moines, IA. The winner gets either Michigan State or Bradley on Saturday.
