A Hopkinsville man has been charged with tampering with physical evidence after allegedly swallowing drugs.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, 35-year old McKinley West of Hopkinsville was arrested a strength of a warrant for parole violation. West allegedly admitted to swallowing drugs and a full body scan at the Christian County Jail reportedly revealed a circular bag in his stomach region.
He was charged with tampering with physical evidence in addition to the warrant.
