CCHS principal brags on students, says school preparing for end of year

Christian County High School Principal Chris Bentzel says the school is gearing up for spring break and the end of the school year and celebrating successes.

Appearing on WHOP News Thursday, Bentzel says spring break is fast approaching during the first week of April and then after that it’s a sprint to get testing and finals done before graduation in May.

He says the year has been full of student accomplishments and this month they’re celebrating student of the month and Kentucky Music Educators Association band student Alex Pritchett and the wrestling team for their successful year.

He says around 300 students took the ACT recently and should get their results sometime in April. Christian County High School freshman got to experience what living with a budget, taxes and other realities during a ‘reality store’ this week, in an effort to prepare them for life after school.
