A Marshall County teenager was killed in a single vehicle accident Friday night in Benton.
Police determined the 17-year old Benton girl had been eastbound on West 12th Street in Benton about 11 p.m. when she traveled off the left side of the road and struck a concrete culvert head-on. The teen was not wearing a seat belt and died from her injuries in the ambulance while being transported to Marshall County hospital, according to Benton Police.
Her name has not been released.
