A Christian County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments Friday, including for charges of stalking, robbery, complicity to incest and more.
Indicted for first-degree complicity to incest is 33-year old Amber Hines of Crofton. She is alleged to have known that a juvenile victim was being sexually abused and failed to report it. She also allegedly encouraged the victim to lie to law enforcement when the victim reported the incidents that had occurred over several years.
Sixty-year old Travis William of Crofton has been indicted for first-degree stalking, after he allegedly entered the victim’s residence in January and forced the victim to sit down on a couch, telling her had been watching her for a long time and wanted a relationship. The victim reportedly said she knew he was married and demanded he leave—he allegedly refused and showed the victim a gun he had hidden under his pant leg. He then allegedly kissed her forcibly twice and made vulgar, sexual comments about her before leaving, tell her not to tell anyone he had been there. He reportedly went to her place of business twice the next day and several days later.
Indicted for second-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, criminal trespassing and violation of an emergency protection order is 38-year old John Trump of Hopkinsville. He is alleged to have forced his way into the victim’s home in December and took her cellphone away from her. He allegedly physically assaulted the victim and prevented her from leaving to get help, before fleeing the scene and taking her cellphone with him.
