The painful season is over for Vanderbilt. The Commodores lost to Texas A&M 69-52 in the first round of the SEC Tournament last night in Nashville. Vandy lost its last 20 games and went winless in SEC play this season ending the season 9-and-23. The other first round game saw Missouri defeat Georgia 71-61.
Today’s Games: Second round action at Bridgestone Arena has 9th seed Arkansas meeting 8th seed Florida at noon followed by 5th seed Auburn and Missouri. At 6 pm this evening 10th seed Alabama goes against 7th seed Ole Miss and 6th seed Mississippi State goes against Texas A&M.
Second seed Kentucky faces the Alabama/Ole Miss winner tomorrow evening at 6 pm with pregame at 4:30 on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com. Third seed Tennessee will face the Mississippi State/Texas A&M winner in the second game tomorrow evening.
