WKU starts Spring Football today

Western Kentucky begins its first spring practice under new coach Tyson Helton today. During a news conference Monday, Helton said he was going into spring practice with a “blank depth chart” and added he told his team during a meeting Sunday spring football was about winning a job.

Helton also stated Arkansas graduate transfer quarterback Ty Storey will have to come in and “win the job”. The Bowling Green Daily News reports Storey will not be on the field as the first of 14 workouts begins today. Storey will begin with the team March 19th.
