SEC announces post season basketball awards winners

The Southeastern Conference announced its post season award winners today based on voting by the league’s coaches.

Kentucky’s PJ Washington and Tennessee’s Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield were voted First Team All SEC. Kentucky’s Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson were voted to the Second Team All SEC along with Tennessee’s Jordan Bone.

Kentucky’s Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro were voted to the All-Freshman Team with fellow Wildcat Ashton Hagans voted to the All-Defensive Team.

Tennessee’s Grant Williams was named SEC Player of the Year, Ole Miss’ Kermit Davis was named SEC Coach of the Year, Kentucky’s Keldon Johnson was named Freshman of the Year and UK’s Ashton Hagans was selected as Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
