Princeton man charged with animal cruelty, stealing electricity

A Princeton man was arrested Monday for animal cruelty and for allegedly stealing electricity.

Officers were called to 102 Cox Street after Princeton Electric Plant Board personnel found jumper cables hooked to electricity lines coming into the house, according to a news release.

Police located 21-year old Christopher Patmore inside the house and determined he was wanted on a warrant out of Illinois.

He was served with the warrant and additionally charged with theft of services, second-degree cruelty to animals and criminal trespass.
