Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s help to locate suspects responsible for a Sunday morning shooting at a night club on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
A news release says a fight broke out among individuals in a parking lot in the 2600 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard about 4 a.m.
The physical fighting had come to an end and the parking lot was clearing out when the confrontations started heating up again with words exchanged between individuals. Police say that’s when two men emerged from a light-colored BMW and began firing shots toward the building.
A man in his 60’s was hit in the leg and 38-year old Jonte Bailey of Clarksville was shot multiple times. Bailey was treated and released from a Nashville hospital and was then served with warrants for multiple felony charges.
The victim in his 60’s remains hospitalized in critical, but stable condition.
Police want to talk to 32-year old Jeffery Hairston and 25-year old Jordan Hairston, who were at the scene and may have information on the incident.
