Madisonville’s 23 game win streak ended in the quarterfinals last night as the Maroons fell to Warren Central 66-62. The Dragons rallied from an 11 point deficit to get the victory to improve to 22-11. Madisonville was led in scoring by Kenny White’s 27 points in finishing 30-6.
In other quarterfinal games: Top ranked Scott County blitzed Butler 66-45 to improve to 34-3 on the season. Trinity bounced Ashland Blazer 60-30 and Campbell County got by Walton Verona 49-42.
Tonight’s semifinal games: Campbell County (31-4) meets Trinity (28-8) at 6:30 Hopkinsville time followed by Scott County and Warren Central. Tonight’s action can be heard beginning at 6:15 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
