Very little action was taken by Todd Fiscal Court during its first meeting of March Friday morning, but magistrates did hear a positive financial report.
Treasurer Tammy Robertson says three-quarters of the way through the fiscal year, all departments have remained within their budgets.
Meanwhile, Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith says the county has been working with Novelis to address emergency response concerns they have for their $300 million industrial facility being constructed on US 79 near Guthrie.
The building is 90 feet tall and there are fire protection, rescue and EMS concerns that Novelis has expressed. Novelis has appeared willing to assist the county in finding solutions, according to Smith.
Magistrates went into closed session regarding proposed or pending litigation, but did not take any action.
A purchase to replace outdated equipment to improve the security of computer equipment at Todd County Dispatch was unanimously approved.
