It’s become regular for WKU freshman Charles Bassey as he won his ninth Conference USA Freshman of the Week award Monday. Bassey averaged 13.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocks last week as WKU earned a road victory at UAB and a home win over Southern Miss. WKU concludes the home portion of its season tomorrow night hosting UTSA at EA Diddle Arena.
