A vehicle pursuit that began on the Pennyrile Parkway Monday ended with the arrest of a Tennessee man.
State Trooper Stu Recke attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 25-year old Angelo Gleaves of Nashville near the 32 mile-marker for speeding, but Gleaves allegedly continued driving and took the Nortonville exit.
Gleaves crashed at the intersection of KY 2171 and Sand Cut Road, approximately two miles east of Earlington.
Police say Gleaves fled the vehicle on foot and was arrested after a foot pursuit.
A computer check showed the vehicle had been reported stolen in October to Metro Nashville Police.
Gleaves is charged with receiving stolen property, two counts of fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, resisting arrest and several other counts related to the pursuit.
