Bomb threat closes Caldwell Co. Courthouse, streets in Princeton

Kentucky State Police is investigating a bomb threat that closed down the Caldwell County Courthouse Tuesday morning and some streets in downtown Princeton.

According to a news release, the Caldwell County Dispatch Center received call of a bomb threat against the courthouse at approximately 11 a.m. The courthouse closed early and KSP and the Owensboro Police Department searched the facility with bomb detection canines and found no explosives.

Streets downtown have since reopened and the courthouse will reopen Wednesday morning. KSP continues to investigate the threat.
