A woman arrested for shoplifting at the North Main Street Dollar General Store Saturday night had felony charges added after methamphetamine was allegedly found on her person.
Officers went to the store about 9:20 p.m. for a woman who appeared to be under the influence of a substance and a jar of peanut butter was located in the purse of 46-year old Elizabeth Mullican of Hopkinsville. She had not paid for the item and makeup that was allegedly stolen was found in her purse, according to a report.
Mullican was transported to the Christian County Jail, where a search allegedly revealed a glass pipe and meth wrapped in a paper towel.
Mullican was charged with theft, possession of meth, promoting contraband and possession of drug paraphernalia.
