A Hopkinsville man was arrested Tuesday after investigation by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force discovered half a pound of methamphetamine in a Boxwood Drive residence.
According to a news release, detectives with the task force obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 100 block of Boxwood Drive and during the search, allegedly found a half pound of meth, marijuana and pills inside. The meth had a street value of approximately $20,000.
Officers arrested 33-year old Montrail Forte of Hopkinsville and charged him with trafficking in meth, possession of marijuana and possession of an unspecified controlled substance.
The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the Hopkinsville Police Department, Kentucky State Police, the DEA and Madisonville police.
