Bruce Center cuts ribbon on new expansion

A dedication and ribbon cutting was held Wednesday afternoon for the expansion of the James E. Bruce Convention Center.

Bruce Center Board Chairman Darrel Gustafson noted the facility has hosted over 4,000 events in its history and things will only get busier with the newly constructed wing addition and kitchen.

Judge-Executive Steve Tribble echoed comments from Mayor Carter Hendricks in saying people from across Kentucky are noticing the growth of the Bruce Center complex on Lovers Lane.

Gustafson praised the Bruce Center staff for their dedication—especially during ongoing construction in their workplace during the last several months.
